As with every member party, we bring you the best tours so you can enjoy your vacation and get to know more than just the Resort. As you know that some members like relaxed tours and others like adventures, we have a proposal for everyone. Check here for all the information!

Cenote & Mayan Village

A perfect day for members who love nature and culture. Early in the morning you will be able to relax in a refreshing semi-open cenote where you will swim and marvel at the beauty of the place, an incomparable experience!

For those who do not know what cenotes are, they are large natural water wells resulting from rock collisions. The Riviera Maya is characterized by having the largest subway system of cenotes in the world, interconnected with each other. The word cenote comes from the Mayan “dzonot”, which means cavern with water.

Continuing with the tour, the Mayan community of Campamento Hidalgo will open their doors with their authentic smiles to share their traditions and customs with you. Receive the best of this community and take the best moments as a souvenir. If you want to support the community, you will have the opportunity to buy beautiful local handicrafts such as wooden sculptures or embroidered clothing.

The tour includes:

*Round trip transportation.

*Visit to 2 cenotes Mariposa (semi-open) and Chenha (cavern).

*Life jackets and lockers.

*Mexican brunch

*Unlimited flavored drinks (horchata, tamarind and hibiscus).

*Bottles of purified water

*Visit to Hidalgo’s camp with shaman included.

*Chocolate and xtabenbtun presentation.

*English/Spanish speaking guide

For a better experience, we recommend you to bring comfortable clothes, bathing suit, sandals and towel, change of clothes, biodegradable mosquito repellent and cash. In our social networks and the official program of activities you will be able to know the schedules and days of the tour, live unforgettable moments in the Riviera Maya!

Monkey Sanctuary

Our second tour option is a visit to the Monkey Sanctuary, home to a great variety of primates and more than 55 rescued species. In a fun and interactive way you will learn more about the project to rescue and protect the endemic fauna of the area as well as endangered species. Fall in love with the flora and fauna of Akumal and have an incredible afternoon.

Most of the specimens have been affected by human actions or natural phenomena that prevent, in most cases, the reintroduction to their natural environment and, consequently, remain under human care. In order to continue sheltering species and helping the community, part of the income received is donated to the Mayan communities in the area.

A tour not to be missed, perfect for the whole family and an activity out of the ordinary, the best way to have fun and get out of the hotel!

The tour includes:

– Transportation to and from the sanctuary

– Entrance to the sanctuary

– Guided tour

– English/Spanish speaking guide

For your comfort, we recommend you to wear comfortable and closed shoes, biodegradable mosquito repellent, a hat, do not wear accessories such as chains, earrings and bring cash to buy souvenirs inside the sanctuary.
